Rosh Hashanah
Begin the Jewish new year with festive oceanfront dining.
Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, opens the High Holidays - two days of prayer, reflection and festive meals marked by symbolic foods: apples dipped in honey for a sweet year, round challah, pomegranates and the head of the table's blessings (simanim).
At Silan, Rosh Hashanah is celebrated with multi-course holiday dinners and lunches built around the traditional simanim, reimagined through our fusion kitchen. Families gather at The Alexander Hotel with services on-site, so the entire holiday - prayer, meals and rest - happens in one place, steps from the ocean.
