Simchat Torah marks the completion and immediate restart of the annual Torah reading cycle - the most joyous day in the synagogue calendar, celebrated with hakafot (dancing with the Torah scrolls), singing and festive meals.
At Silan, the celebration moves naturally from the hotel synagogue to the dining room: holiday dinner and lunch with the full Silan kitchen, l'chaims at the bar, and a room built for simcha.
